如何寫論文之三、關於英文文摘

英文摘要（Abstract)

SCI、ISTP和EI等索引主要是根據英文題名和文摘選錄

文摘長度一般為100-200 words。

內容要求與中文大體相同，主要講目的、過程、方法和結果。內容要精練，不要將結論譯成英文作摘要。

文章題目第一詞切不可用冠詞The，A，An和And（單位名稱也不用The Institute …）

各大索引題名與文摘是連排的，所以文摘第一句話一定不要與文章題名重複。

題名少用縮寫詞，必要時需在括弧中注明全稱，也儘量少用特殊字母和希臘字母，因摘要排版要快，儘量簡單。

敘述用第三人稱（被動語態），不得用第一人稱作主語。

文摘儘量簡單，不用長句，儘量用簡單句：
– at a temperature of 250o C to 300o C
– at 250o C – 300o C

用事實開頭，避免用從句開頭；用過去時?述工作，用現在時態說明作者結論
– The corresponding changes was detected …
– The pointing accuracy is 0.1 arc-seconds.

不宜使用口語省略式詞 does’nt, should’nt 等

不用不常見的辭彙，主語與動詞應儘量靠近

可用動詞的情況不要用動詞的名詞形式，如
– “Thickness of plastic sheets was measured ”
– “Measurement of thickness of plastic sheet was made.”

注意冠詞用法，a 是泛指，the是專指
– “Pressure is a function of temperature.”
– “Pressure is a function of the temperature.”

Abstract 例句

“A fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensor for detection of ultrasonic waves is investigated… ”
“ A multiview connection technique for 360-deg three-dimensional (3-D) measurement is
presented… ”

下句形式不用
– “This paper introduce… ”
– “ We present a theoretical analysis of a HBT…”
